I took a Day photo of the words signal box so you could see the color effect. I am super happy how the blue bleed through the cheaper white spray paint. almost like tie die.

the process of letters

I hate the way Houston looks already. So when I see these signal boxes covered in different shades of gray it just makes me want to cover them with life.

BIG SURPRISE HERE : This was my first attempt at using Spray Paint!! I know!! crazy. I enjoy my house paint much more. But, if I upgraded my spray paint and bought the right nozzles I can see how I can fall in love fast. Looks like I have some shopping to do : )

So here is the signal box before the letters were put on
Base coat: white
splatter paint: black
letters: black


Then I applied the letters. With making the letters I cut them out, painted one side of them and then sealed them with a spray. Then I used a strong epoxy glue and popped them right on.

i hope to have a lot more to post soon. I just sent in 5 rolls of film to be developed. I don't even know what is on them. Can't wait to have a mini vacation from work. means a lot more art.
Thinking about working with some guys soon as my subjects. really interested with how I am going to roll with that.

Glue Glitter

I learned this trick when I was 15. Fair warning: This stuff does not come off easy... at all...like woah.

1.get some basic glue and a shit ton of glitter. mix it up so it becomes a thick textured mixture.

2. then apply with a paintbrush. It will be thick and like oatmeal. But when it dries it will become a clear coat of glitter.

then paste up! This is a great way to re-vamp your living room or really anything. Use industrial adhesive or just some mod podge for a table, or a book. Just have fun!


the white stuff is a glue glitter mixture that I will show and talk about at a later date. I will be taking day time photos today of the dumpster. fun
